About the Challenge
Robots are used in environments where human movement may be difficult or dangerous, including rescue operations, exploration, and industrial inspection. In this challenge, students design, build, and operate a robot that navigates a maze from a designated Start Zone to a Finish Zone. The event tests robot construction, electronics, control, navigation strategy, spatial reasoning, troubleshooting, and teamwork.
